Spring Things

With spring just around the corner, there's no shortage of things to do in Chicago! Here are some of our favorites:


Tails on the Trails

Morton Arboretum, Saturday 5/5 from 10am to 4pm | $5.00 per dog

Katie says, "I load up my pup and take him out to Lisle for the day. He loves all the sights, sounds, and trails -- not to mention meeting all of the other dogs!" 


Dyeing of the River

Chicago River, Saturday 3/17 at 9:00am  |  FREE

Ivan says, "This is a bucket list item! The best viewing spot is on Lower Wacker between Michigan Avenue and Columbus Drive. Make sure you layer up!"


Shamrock Shuffle + Expo

Grant Park, Sunday 3/25 at 8:30am
Expo 3/23 and 3/24  |  Expo = FREE

Mari says, "This is a fun race to start running season! The 8k (or approximately 5 miles) course is flat and fast. The expo is also the best in the Midwest!


Play with Kid Athletes

UIC, Loyola, SkyHigh Sports in Skokie  |  Various dates  |  FREE

Annie says, "KEEN is a great organization that creates environments for one-to-one play with kids who have disABILITIES. I always have a blast playing ball or bouncing on a trampoline with these athletes!" 


Music at Door No. 3

Underneath Double Door in Wicker Park, 1551 N Damen  |  Various dates  |  $10 per ticket

Jen says, "This is a speakeasy that's underneath Double Door. Tickets are usually just $10 and you can see live music while getting your handlebar mustache and man-bun on."
